Summary
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another full night of observations done, with few technical issues occurring. NASA also completed the DART Mission, hitting an asteroid in a first-ever planetary defense test. This was sadly not observed by SALT, but rather with the smaller steerable telescopes on the plateau. Exciting!

Science data taken for:
2022-1-SCI-007 P1 RSS (An enigmatic `beast': the nearby edge-on giant LSB galaxy)
2022-1-COM-002 P1 HRS (x3) (Commissioning Data for HRS @dlhwp)
2020-1-MLT-005 P1 RSS (Study of extraplanar diffuse ionized gas in moderately inclined galaxies.)
2022-1-SCI-018 P3 HRS (Spectroscopic orbits for three massive eclipsing binaries with pulsating components)
2022-1-SCI-015 P3 RSS (Probing the quasar outflows.)
2020-1-MLT-008 P3 RSS (x3) (Obtaining redshifts for G4Jy sources - the brightest radio galaxies in the southern sky)
2018-2-MLT-005 P3 RSS (x3) (Probing the winds from massive binary star supernova progenitors)
