Tonight we set a record for the most remote observing done with SALT, with me signing in from the UK! Unfortunately, this milestone was dampened (literally) by persistent rain in Sutherland, meaning we could not open. Perhaps fitting that the first night of observations from the UK was washed out with rain ;-)
