Night Log 2019-05-15

SA: Rosalind
SO: Fred
Others: Keith for pointing tests, Simon via phone

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Much of the night was affected by clouds, so we mostly observed lower priority targets. We completed a pointing test and did a number of HRS Iodine cell commissioning targets. The seeing was very good throughout the night.

Science data taken for:
2019-1-COM-002 P0 HRS (x4) (Getting the HRS tuned up for exoplanet science)
2019-1-SCI-002 P2 RSS (Measuring the properites of giant stars in close binaries that may eventually merge and explode.)
2019-1-SCI-036 P3 HRS (x4) (Spectroscopy of TESS targets)
2018-2-MLT-007 P3 HRS (x2) (Searching for evolved binary stars with long orbital periods)
2019-1-MLT-006 P3 HRS (x2) (Searching for new chemically peculiar stars in the southern hemisphere.)
2018-2-MLT-003 P4 RSS (x2) (Looking at chromospheric emission in stars which host exoplanets)
