Night Log 2018-10-15

SA: Marissa
SO: Fred
Others: Moses (training - in control), Enrico

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The started off well with some weekly HRS calibrations. We got some variable seeing and thin to thick cloud cover and managed to do science observations until the humidity got too high and stayed that way for the rest of the evening, and clouds moved in as well. We therefore had to close for the rest of the night and do some further weekly HRS calibrations.

Science data taken for:
2016-2-LSP-001 P2 RSS (Observing optical counterparts of transient objects)
2018-1-SCI-021 P2 RSS (Reverberation mapping of a low-z AGN)
2017-1-MLT-004 P3 RSS (Monitoring the line emission in Southern Galactic Be/X-ray binaries)
2018-1-SCI-016 P4 HRS (Characterising the host star and protoplanetary disk environment in nearby young star systems)
2017-1-MLT-010 P4 HRS (Searching for evolved binary stars with long orbital periods)
2017-1-MLT-001 P4 HRS (Study of long-period eclipsing binaries)
